Ben's Ambulatory EEG
Because we can't stomach being admitted to the hospital yet again with Ben hooked up to a stationary EEG machine, our wonderful epileptologist, Dr. Brenda Porter, offered us an ambulatory EEG. This way, Ben gets to participate in his normal daily activities as the 27 electrodes pasted to his scalp continuously record his brain activity. He never once complained about having to carry the heavy recording device around with him. He even slept with it without complaining. He sure is a trooper. Now let us hope that the information gained will be useful in his treatment. We will never give up hope for a seizure-free life for our sweet boy.

Let's hope you learn more about where the seizures originate. Love to you all, Dad
